Lightweight

One of the good things from living in a country with tropical weather is that I can wear lightweighted pants and shirt in January (sorry to the people up north that are facing the biggest winter since the Ice Age). Some days I would really like living in a 4 season kind of country, but then I think... Nah, I like wearing what I like, when I feel like it. So to some of you that are going through this Polar Vortex, I send you warm and sunshine from Venezuela. Keep warm and safe.

Owl- A

As I stated before, I love printed clothes and these pants are a cute example of that. I bought them on sale, they were the last pair in an XS size and thank God they fit me. I wish I had more of this whimsical prints, but since I'm on a very tight budget I have to prioritize.

Inspirations

This was my outfit from sunday. I was busy visiting relatives and I took this pics really quickly. I love this dress mainly because I designed it after I saw the movie "The Count of Monte Cristo" with all those dresses with the empire waistline. The necklace I made it like this Burberry necklace that I tried to emulate. Inspiration comes from anything, anyone, anywhere, so keep your eyes open.

Bisous, Bisous, Bisous

Here comes spring, and with it new opportunities to experiment with your style (because if backfires you can blame it on the springtime sensation). So today I bring you 3 different shades of lipsticks that are making the rounds in the fashion circuit.
1. Burgundy/Wine stained Lips
Normally this shade of lipstick is very popular during the colder months, but right now it seems that it's making it stay a little bit longer and an example is the J. Mendel Spring 2014 runway show where the models donned burgundy/ deep purple lips. Also it can see it in the lips of Lorde, Jennifer Lawrence and many others.

2. Orange/ Coral Pop

Coral is a color that screams spring/summer lips but not many girls use it and they take the safe road with pink or peach lipstick. It's time to be bold and rock those lips, plus there's A LOT of Pop Art inspirations coming out of the runways and this one is an easy way of doing it.

Side note: If really want to go full on Pop Art an electric blue liquid eyeliner is the way to go, just like Miss Andy Torres from Stylescrapbook (@stylescrapbook)

3. Red/ Tomato

Red is a classic, it never goes out of style and looks good on any skin tone so, yes it's a must. There are a large variety of shades of red from Cherry to primary red. My personal favorite is Revlon Red (the color is so rich!) but I've found a new shade that I like - specially for this months - and it's called Tomato red, it's a bit orange/red and it's just lovely.

So are you going to try any of these shades? Which one is your favorite?

Lena Dunham Vogues

By now you've probably already seen this video from this month's Vogue cover girl Lena Dunham and European editor-at-large Hamish Bowles "voguing", but this is worthy to be seen several times if only to learn the "Kate, Naomi, Cindy, Twiggy, Edie, Edie, Shalom..." or maybe to appreciate the comedy and the faces that Lena makes throughout the whole thing.

This video is a gem: fashion, comedy, and crazy poses, I wouldn't for anything more.

Enjoy

Runner, Runner

By the looks of the Chanel Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2014 runway held tuesday á Paris sneakers are making a big splash in high fashion. We all love some pretty sneakers: Adidas, Nike, Converse, you name them... but when fashion houses and ateliers start making there own, you know it's a different ball game.

So this means I can start wearing my dresses with sneakers and still feel chic, because what's more chic than Chanel?

P.S: How gorgeous are those outfits?

Ok, Bye x

New Year, New Trend

I've been gone for a long time, because like I said earlier I'm giving this a shot but I don't know if I'll be really consistent with this whole thing but I'm here again. With the New year comes some new trends and things to try, like some people have resolutions like get in shape, stop drinking soft drinks, travel more, etc. I have style resolutions...

 1. Straight dresses

I´m going to try this new shape in dresses because I like the way it looks on girls without boobs. It can be pretty tricky to pull off because it can make you look pregnant but Í´m willing to take the risk, I really like the volumen and also that I don´t have to tuck in my tummy. hahaha

2. Cut-Out Boots

Ever since Balenciaga put out his now famous boots, I've been seeing a sincerely large amount of copies of them in every major online retailer in every price for every Budget. I like a few of them, this ones are some of my favorites. Of course, none of them compares to the original but some are quite cute.

3. Crossbody Handbags

My purses normally are very big, I carry everything and anything in them. So in this new year I'm changing this, mainly because my back is starting to present some issues. So here are some chic choices
