Fashion Inspiration - Alexa Chung

Ever since I stumble upon this Brit I've been inspired by her style of clothes and hair. Her effortless chicness is something you are born with. Her style represents all things easy, fresh, and comfortable, which I love. I love that she wears her overalls and very little make-up, she doesn't go on following the trends and being a fashion victim instead she sets the trends and, the best thing of all, she wears affordable clothes which she mixes and matches with some very chic designer tidbits.

I have tried to copy her many hairstyles and failed in numerous occassions but that hasn't stop me from keep doing it. I just love her I-just-got-out-of-bed hairstyle that seems so easy but yet so hard to do and pull off.

A New Start - Un Nuevo Comienzo

Starting a blog is new to me so... bear with me please.

I've decided to build this because now that I've finished college a need a reason to dress up (well, maybe not a reason just more like an excuse). I'm a little bit camera shy so this is probably not the best idea but I love clothes, fashion and dressing up for no reason necessary, so after A LOT  of thinking I'm finally doing it, but I'll go baby-steps on this.

 

First I'll tell you what my style is all about...

 

STRIPES

 

I love them, I want them in any color, shape or size, I can't get enough of them and if I could dress in stripes all day, every day I'll be a very happy camper.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

MIXOLOGY

 

I like mixing the different patterns, in that way my clothes is always unique and every day I'm able to dress differently. Obviously I own a significant amount of pattern clothes, from shirts to pants, from dogs to owls and dots and flowers.

 

 

FLATS

 

Now, I know that most women that created this type of blogs wear heels day in and day out and I do own my fair share of heels but it pales in comparation with my very fabulous collection of flats. Oxfords, Ballerinas, Loafers, Basket sneakers, you name it and I'll probably have it... or want it.

 

I'm a petite girl and perhaps wearing flats is not the most flattering for me but I love my comfort and besides I don't believe in false advertisement so with me what you see is what you get. All 5,0 feet tall, all real.

 

Well, I hope to keep this up and don't give it up. I hope to have a few pictures for you soon, in the meantime I think I'll just post things that I like.
